Improvements to the centre just keep on coming !!!
Over the latter part of August – commencing on 21st we are having all the UPVC windows and frames replaced throughout the centre. Improvements will include sun reflection for the front lower windows which face south, to combat our ever increasing summer temperatures. Improved thermal rating for saving energy and of course will look good. The windows will continue to be toughened laminated glass and the upper floor windows will rotate for easy cleaning.
Work is being carried out with thanks to North Herts District Council for a one off maintenance grant for 3 major projects, it has already resurfaced the car park and next year will give the main hall a new floor which along with the windows will set the centre up to serve the community for some time to come.
Please be aware, there will be a skip on site and workman around during the week and possibly at weekends. Disruption will be kept to a minimum and each room will be done to avoid disturbing regular hirers.
